Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
We'll work with yoga, meditation, and a cognitive understanding of the physiology of stress in this eight week class based on the program designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, the author of Full Catastrophe Living, at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

The course offers simple but powerful techniques for quieting the mind and relieving stress, along with support for integrating these tools into everyday life. While this course is designed for beginners, anyone who would like to deepen their current practice in a supportive group setting is welcome.

I offer all my yoga classes as a Meditation through Movement, an invitation into deep relaxation through gentle stretches and yogic breathing--so any yoga class is a great antidote for physical, emotional and mental stress!
